Jurij Hudolin (1973) is a poet, writer, screenwriter, columnist and translator. He published his first poetry collection in 1991 when he was eighteen and quickly became one the most important poets of his generation. Since then he has published a further eight poetry collections, seven novels and a book of short stories. He is known for his rebellious stance, hyperrealism, piquant wit and provocative, ever-inventive language.
